Corinne Erceg has had a diverse range of work experiences, primarily in the field of education. Corinne started their career in 2004 as an Assistant Language Teacher in Tomishima Commercial High School through the JET Programme, where they planned and executed English lessons, trained students for proficiency tests, and organized English day events. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as an Adult ESL Instructor at Metropolitan Family Service. In 2008, they worked as an ESL Instructor and Adjunct Instructor in the Intensive English Language Program at Portland State University, where they taught various English courses and assisted in the placement test process. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as an Instructor of Business English at ComuniCorp SA, where they independently planned classes and evaluated student progress. Corinne then relocated to Chile, where they worked at Universidad Metropolitana de Ciencias de la Educación from 2010 to 2012 as an Instructor and Head of Department in EFL Pedagogy, teaching various courses, supervising teaching practica, and forming study abroad opportunities. Corinne then moved on to Universidad Internacional SEK from 2013 to 2014 as the Head of Department and a Professor of EFL Pedagogy, where they developed program curriculums, coordinated with other instructors, and formed study abroad opportunities. Their next position was at Universidad Diego Portales from 2014 to 2015 as an Academic Coordinator, where they provided administrative support for the EFL Pedagogy degree program and taught beginner level Integrated Skills English. Their most recent position, which they have held since 2015, is with Beaverton School District as a Teacher and Social Support Liaison for the Passages Program, where they work closely with students at-risk of dropping out and connects them with community resources.
Corinne Erceg's education history includes a variety of programs and degrees in the field of education. In 1999, they attended the University of Oregon and obtained a Bachelor's degree in German Language and Literature, which they completed in 2003. In 2002 and 2003, they pursued a Certificate in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching from the same university. Continuing their education, they enrolled at Portland State University in 2004 and completed a Master's degree in TESOL in 2008. Later, in 2018, they attended Pacific University for K-12 licensure, and the same year, they obtained a Licentiate degree in Education from Marylhurst University.
