Sara Bodin

English Language Development Teacher at Beaverton School District

Sara Bodin has a diverse work experience. Sara began their career as a Third Grade Bilingual Teacher and Team Leader at Rangerville Elementary in 2000. After that, they worked with Teach For America as a Corps Member Advisor and Learning Team Leader. In 2002, they joined the Austin Independent School District as a Bilingual Teacher. Sara then moved to Round Rock ISD, where they served as a 21st Century Grant Coordinator. Later, they became an Assistant Principal at Pflugerville ISD. In 2009, Sara took a break to be a stay-at-home mom until 2016. Upon returning to work, they joined the Beaverton School District as an International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme Spanish Language and Culture Teacher. Currently, they work as an English Language Development Teacher at the same company.

Sara Bodin attended Smith College from 1996 to 2000, although their degree and field of study are not specified. Later, they pursued a Masters degree in Education and Community Leadership from Texas State University from 2007 to 2009.
