Daniel Skinner

Daniel Skinner has a diverse work experience in management consulting, with a focus on portfolio management and project delivery. Daniel has held various roles in different companies, including Beazley, MS Amlin, Scintillate Consulting, Deloitte UK, MI-GSO | PCUBED, EY, and various other companies.

Daniel's most recent position was as Head of Portfolio Integration at Beazley, starting in 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Portfolio Office Lead at MS Amlin from 2021 to 2023, where they oversaw a £50m annual business change budget and developed scalable processes and governance.

Before their role at MS Amlin, Daniel served as a Director/Project Management Consultant at Scintillate Consulting from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they worked on projects like a Data Quality improvement program for MS Amlin and the Risk Exchange workstream of the Future at Lloyd's transformation program for Lloyd's of London.

Daniel also gained experience at Deloitte UK as a Management Consultant from 2015 to 2018, where they worked on a £100m UK finance transformation program and implemented Agile tools and processes. Daniel was also a Management Consultant at MI-GSO | PCUBED from 2011 to 2015, where they acted as a Principal Consultant and Account Director for key clients.

Additionally, Daniel worked at EY as a Management Consultant from 2006 to 2011, providing Programme Advisory Services and leading stakeholder engagement and PMO responsibilities in various projects. Prior to that, they held earlier roles in various companies.

Daniel Skinner completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronic & Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications including Kanban Management Professional, Certified Disciplined Agilist, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Management of Portfolios (MoP) Registered Practitioner, Managing Successful Programmes Registered Practitioner, and PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner. The obtained years for their certifications range from 2007 to 2017.
