Drew Goodman

Drew Goodman is an experienced engineer currently serving in the Quality and Technology Department at Bechtel Plant Machinery, Inc. since April 2017, focusing on ultrasonic scanner research, design, maintenance, and testing. Additionally, Drew has been a Graduate Research Assistant at the West Virginia Robotic Technology Center since May 2015, where responsibilities include integrating non-destructive testing equipment with robotic systems for NASA's ARM mission objectives, including the design and characterization of novel NDT systems and data analysis using custom MATLAB software. Earlier experience includes research in human upper extremity motion and mechanical systems at the Neuro-Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratory, as well as serving as a Teaching Assistant in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department at West Virginia University. Drew holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University, awarded in 2016 and 2014 respectively.
