Claire Halliwell

Claire Halliwell is a seasoned communications and community manager with extensive experience in local government and political organizations. Currently serving as the Manager for Communications and Communities at Bedford Borough Council since May 2022, Claire is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that engage a wide range of stakeholders. Previous roles include Chief Executive and Senior Advisor at the Welsh Liberal Democrats, Campaign Manager for Ed Davey MP, and Head of National Campaigns for the Liberal Democrats. Claire also has a background in grassroots campaign support, having served various roles within the Liberal Democrat party at both local and national levels. Claire holds a Bachelor's Degree in Politics from Durham University.
