Michael Shea

Michael Shea is an Assistant Engineer at Bedford Borough Council since January 2022, focusing on the design of carriageway and footway resurfacing and patching schemes, as well as conducting Technical Audits and site visits for S278s and S38s. Previously, Michael served as a Highways Inspector at Central Bedfordshire Council from April 2018 to January 2022, where responsibilities included conducting inspections to identify defects and initiating repair orders, along with identifying structural maintenance schemes. Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering at Coventry University, Michael also holds an HNC in Construction in the Built Environment from The Bedford College Group.
