Mike Qiu

Mike Qiu has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry. Mike began their career in 2011 as a Research Assistant at the University of Toronto. In 2014, they became a Graduate Student at the University Health Network. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Mentor at Coursera, followed by a Machine Learning Engineer role at Fomoro from 2018 to 2020. In 2020, they Co-Founded and became CTO of NeuralTox AI. Mike is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Bedrock AI since 2022.

Mike Qiu received their Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology/Physiology from the University of Toronto between 2008 and 2012. Mike then went on to earn their Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the same university between 2014 and 2017. Additionally, Mike has obtained several certifications from Coursera, including Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
