Tiago Loureiro has a strong background in Android engineering and product management. Tiago has worked in various companies and projects, starting with their role as a Software Engineering intern at NPDI/DCC/UFMG, where they contributed to research projects focused on human action recognition in videos and worked on the Everest project management system.
In 2010, Tiago joined VTL as an Android Engineer, where they played a key role in developing the native mobile app and cloud backend for a cloud ERP system. Tiago also built a server software for the Tanque Cheio app, which provided up-to-date data on gas stations to the Android client.
Tiago later joined Bluelux, where they served as an Android Engineer and led the development of the company's native Android app for smart home control. Tiago also worked as a Product Manager, overseeing the integration of Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for smart home voice control.
At Tarmac.IO, Tiago continued their work as a Senior Android Engineer, leading the creation of a native Android app for a major Health Institution in the US. Tiago was responsible for establishing the app's architecture using Kotlin, MVVM, Compose, Coroutines, and Flow, as well as setting up the CI/CD infrastructure using CircleCI and Fastlane.
Most recently, Tiago joined Beeper as a Senior Android Engineer. This role is ongoing and spans into 2022. From 2006 to 2010, Tiago Loureiro attended the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following this, from 2013 to 2019, Tiago pursued further education at the same university, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
