Proton Lee has over 25 years of work experience. From 2017 to present, they have been working at Beet Analytics Technology as Director of New Technology Development and Director of China Operations. From 1997 to 2017, they worked at Ford Motor Company in various roles, including Manufacturing Analytics Manager, VOME Program Manager, Manufacturing Director/Plant Manager, Forward Model and Core Quality Director/Total Quality Director, Total Quality Director, Final Assembly Plant Area Manager, Paint Shop Area Manager, Body Shop Area Manager, Quality Manager, Plant & Material Handling Engineering Manager, Acting Manager, Plant & Material Handling Engineering, Senior Equipment Engineer, Advanced Engineering, and Material Handling & Layout Engineer, Advanced Engineering. From 1994 to 1997, they worked at Army-Artillery 168 Division as a Reserve Officer as second lieutenant, Logistics; Survey, where they won the Artillery Survey team competition in 1995 annual Army base camp training drill.

Proton Lee attended Chien Kuo Senior High School in Taipei from 1984 to 1987. Proton then pursued a Master degree in Power Mechanical Engineering at National Tsing Hua University from 1987 to 1994.
