Chris Nicol is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in developing educational technologies. Currently at SMART Technologies since July 2010, Chris is involved in creating hardware for innovative Digital Vision Touch interactive whiteboards and other educational devices. Previous roles include firmware engineering at SMART Technologies and electronics contracting for the Science Alberta Foundation, where Chris focused on the design and repair of educational devices. Chris also served as a teaching assistant at the University of Calgary and worked as an electronics engineer at Grindcom, developing control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
