Josh Smythe has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2008 as the Owner/Digital Kiosk Technician at JMS Technical Services. In 2010, they became the Manager at Metronome Coffee. In 2011, they were the IT Manager at Avanti Markets/Evergreen Vending. From 2015 to 2021, they were employed at Airbnb, where they held two roles: Appeals & Escalations Coordinator and Escalated Customer Support Specialist. In 2021, they joined BeFunky Inc. as a Product Operations Specialist, where they lead operations, coordinates the product roadmap, manages cross-functional projects, and performs product research.
Josh Smythe attended Lakeridge High School from 2000 to 2004. In 2004, they began attending the University of Puget Sound, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Sociology in 2008. During their time at the University of Puget Sound, Josh also attended Charles University in 2007.
