Matt Henry is currently the Head of Marketing at Beggars Group. Prior to this, they held various positions at both Beggars Group and Universal Music Group. Matt's first role in the music industry was as a marketing assistant with UMTV & London Records where they assisted in the creation and marketing of compilation albums. Matt then took on an internship with Universal Music Group in sales before becoming a Junior Product Manager and then Marketing Coordinator. In their current role, Matt oversees digital strategy across the full artist roster from 4AD / Matador / Rough Trade / XL / Young Turks. This includes detailed streaming analysis, playlist pitching internationally, growing and engaging online audiences and maintaining best practice on digital properties/platforms.
Matt Henry attended The University of Sheffield from 2010 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Geography. During their time at Sheffield, they were involved in Raising & Giving, an activities and societies group on campus.
