Foad Farnia

Foad Farnia is an experienced DevOps Engineer currently working at Behsazan Mellat since January 2021, where research and development of open-source tools for the CI/CD chain, particularly for GitLab's self-managed version, are key responsibilities. Foad previously held the position of DevOps Engineer at Samat from February 2015 to December 2019, focusing on infrastructure software and tools such as Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes, while also having experience in Linux administration. Prior roles include Network Engineer as a NOC specialist and Network Security Specialist at PayamPardaz, where responsibilities included the installation and support of SIEM products. Foad has also taught specialized computer engineering courses at various universities in Iran from October 2011 to June 2017. Foad holds a Master of Science in Computer Hardware Engineering from Isfahan University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from Amirkabir University of Technology.
