Philipp Hofer

Philipp Hofer is a legal professional with extensive experience in global business law, currently serving as Teamlead Global Business Law and Senior Legal Counsel at Beiersdorf since September 2013. Philipp has a strong focus on digital and IT matters, including data privacy law (GDPR), contract law, and competition law, and has led significant projects such as the implementation of a global Contract Lifecycle Management solution. Prior to Beiersdorf, Philipp worked as an Associate at Binder Groesswang Attorneys, providing advice on antitrust law and merger control, and at Willheim Müller Rechtsanwälte, where responsibilities included advising on unfair commercial practices and intellectual property rights. Philipp's early career included internships at the European Commission and Monereo Meyer Marinel-lo Abogados. Philipp holds a Ph.D. in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of Vienna, a Certificate in Business & Legal Management from Bucerius Law School, and a Master's degree in Law from the University of Vienna.
