Michelle Lee

Michelle Lee has a diverse work experience, with their most recent position being a Climate Finance Analyst at Climate Policy Initiative. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant in the Climate Finance Access Network at RMI. Michelle also gained experience as an Africa Practice Intern at Eurasia Group and as a Research Assistant and Research Associate Intern at FHI 360. Michelle also interned at RMI and the Fondation Artisans de la Paix et du Développement au Rwanda. Additionally, they held roles as a Business Development and Partnerships Manager and Officer at Kupona Foundation and as a Program Assistant at the Social Science Research Council.

Michelle Lee completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Relations and Affairs from Connecticut College, where they studied from 2014 to 2018. Michelle then pursued a Master's degree in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 2021 to 2023. Additionally, Michelle has a certification in French Speaking at the Advanced High level from ACTFL. Michelle also engaged in a Study Away program at the School for International Training, focusing on Rwanda: Post-Genocide Restoration and Peacebuilding, although the specific duration of this program is not provided.
