Zahra Mohammed

Zahra Mohammed has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Zahra began their career as an Intern in the Quality Management System department at Qatar Foundation in 2010, where they gained experience in project delivery and risk mitigation.

In 2014, Zahra joined ASTAD Project Management as a Senior IT Projects Manager, where they oversaw complex IT projects in the construction industry. Zahra was responsible for managing projects from development to implementation while ensuring adherence to corporate governance standards. Additionally, they served as the IT PMO and Governance Manager, where they contributed to updating IT policies and facilitated performance monitoring meetings with the IT Director.

Most recently, Zahra held roles at beIN MEDIA GROUP. As the Head of Technology Audit Section, they played a key role in establishing the Internal Audit Department. Zahra was responsible for reporting to top management, managing department activities, and identifying and mitigating risks. Prior to this, Zahra served as a Senior Internal Auditor, focusing on governance and compliance.

Zahra Mohammed has a Master's degree in Strategic Business Unit Management from HEC Paris, which was obtained from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) from ISACA in 2022, Certified COBIT from ISACA in 2021, Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2021, ITIL 4 Foundation from PeopleCert in 2020, PRINCE2 Agile® Foundation Certificate in Agile Project Management from PeopleCert in 2020, and ITIL Foundation certified in IT Service Management from EXIN in 2015. Zahra also plans to obtain the Building and Managing a Cybersecurity Program certification from LinkedIn in 2023.
