Stefaan Verkest

Stefaan Verkest is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in managing software applications and IT strategies across various organizations. Currently serving as Group IT Service Manager and Group Application Manager at BekaertDeslee since February 2016, Stefaan oversees critical software applications including SAP, Schaeffer, AS400, and others. Prior to this role, Stefaan was IT Manager for DesleeClama from February 1997 to February 2016, where responsibilities included the implementation of Schaeffer ERP across multiple countries. Stefaan's career began as IT Manager at VDL Jonckheere from 1985 to 1996, focusing on IT purchasing decisions and strategic IT planning. Educational qualifications include a degree in Informatica from VHTI Kortrijk and a Humaniora degree from Sint Jozefcollege Tielt.
