David Smart

David Smart is a seasoned project management professional with extensive experience in environmental remediation and risk management. Currently serving as a Project Manager at Recon, a Keller Group Company, since February 2024, David manages environmental remediation projects in the Midwest region of the United States. Prior to this role, David held the position of Project Management Executive in National Environmental Risk Management at Belair Sitework Services from 2000 to the present. Additional experience includes Project Manager roles at Braun Intertec Corporation and American Engineering Testing, Inc., focusing on brownfield redevelopment and environmental remediation, as well as project management of site investigations at Pace Analytical. David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from the University of Minnesota Duluth, completed in 1990.
