Bruno van Houte

Bruno Van Houte has extensive experience in engineering and project management across several companies. Since March 2011, Bruno has served as Manager Veiligheid at Belgoprocess, overseeing radiation protection, operational safety, dosimetry, and conventional safety since 2014, following a role as project manager focused on the installation of a UF6 cylinder cleaning facility. Prior experience includes a position as Project Manager at Umicore from March 2005 to March 2011, where Bruno managed various investment projects and led a compliance team on risk analyses and ATEX. From July 2001 to March 2005, Bruno worked as Production Manager at Nyrstar, overseeing a zinc electrolysis production department with a significant operating budget. Earlier, from September 1998 to July 2001, Bruno was a Project Engineer at TOTAL, focusing on investment projects, including the modernization of a high-pressure steam boiler. Bruno holds a Master of Engineering in Metallurgy and Applied Materials Science from K.U.Leuven.
