Neil Murray

Neil Murray has extensive experience in the theater industry, with roles ranging from Interim CEO to Director. Neil most recently served as the Interim CEO at the Belgrade Theatre in 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Executive Producer/Director starting in 2021. Neil also served as the Interim Executive Director at Leeds Playhouse in 2022. From 2016 to 2021, Neil was the CEO of Abbey Theatre. Neil previously worked as the Executive Producer at the National Theatre of Scotland from 2005 to 2016 and as the Director at Tron Theatre Ltd from 1996 to 2005. Neil also held various managerial roles at 7:84 Theatre Company Scotland, Granada TV, and Citizens Theatre in the earlier stages of their career.

Neil Murray attended Manchester Polytechnic from 1978 to 1982, where they pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Public Administration.
