Trish Smith, PHR, SHRM-CP

Trish Smith, PHR, SHRM-CP, has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Trish started their career at Carpenter Co. as an HR & Safety Manager from an unspecified date until 2005. Trish then joined CertainTeed/North American Specialty Products as a Human Resource & Safety Manager, where they achieved SHAPRS certification for their safety program and developed a comprehensive leave of absence policy. Trish also led the development of a safety culture with full employee participation. In 2015, they became the Director of Human Resources at Belkorp Ag, LLC. There, they successfully implemented self-insured medical, vision, and pharmacy benefits and significantly improved employee engagement. Additionally, Trish has been actively involved in the San Joaquin Society for Human Resource Management since 1999, serving in various leadership roles and contributing to community education in the HR profession.

Trish Smith, PHR, SHRM-CP, holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management from the University of Phoenix. Trish obtained their SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in March 2015.
