Sasi Shanmugarajah

Sasi Shanmugarajah is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Software Development at Bell since June 2023, Sasi previously held the position of Engineering Manager at Amazon from April 2018 to May 2023, where leadership encompassed multiple teams responsible for developing and launching the Alexa Hybrid Engine for various applications. Prior roles include Senior Software Development Manager at Avanti Computer Systems, where leadership focused on establishing new engineering teams and implementing best practices for a flagship SaaS product, and Senior Manager of Solutions Development & Technology at PRESTO, overseeing the launch of a payment card system for Ontario transportation authorities. Sasi's career is further distinguished by roles at eHealth Ontario and IBM, where contributions included leading the development of a notable database replication and transformation software. Sasi holds both an MBA and a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto.
