Trent Fleming has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Trent currently holds the position of Mission Systems Engineer Principal at Bell Flight since November 2022. Prior to this, Trent worked at Lockheed Martin as an Electrical Engineer Sr. from August 2019 to November 2022. Trent also worked as an Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin from March 2017 to July 2019, where they were responsible for designing and maintaining electrical systems and managing engineering specifications. Before their time at Lockheed Martin, Trent was an Electrical Controls Engineer II at TESMEC USA, Inc. from November 2013 to March 2017, where they played a key role in the design and production of a prototype rail vehicle. Additionally, Trent gained experience as an R&D Electrical Engineering Intern at Key Technology, Inc. in July to September 2012, where they conducted studies and performed testability analysis on various circuit boards and camera lenses. Prior to pursuing a career in engineering, Trent worked as a Frame Carpenter at Robert Taylor Construction from January 2005 to August 2011 and as a Mobile Electronics Designer/Installer, where they designed and installed various electronics systems, from September 2005 to September 2010. Trent'searly experience includes working as a Frame Carpenter at Fleming Construction from June 2003 to August 2005.
Trent Fleming earned a Master's degree in Systems Engineering from Southern Methodist University between 2018 and 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Walla Walla University from 2010 to 2013. Trent also attended Tarrant County College from 2009 to 2010, studying Chemistry and Calculus I. In addition, they pursued General Studies and Mathematics at Southwestern Adventist University from 2008 to 2010. Trent Fleming holds a Mobile Electronics Installation certification from Acoustic Edge Institute in 2008. Trent has obtained several additional certifications, including Vivado Design Suite 1, Advanced VHDL, Designing with VHDL, and Intermediate PLC Training: CX Programmer - Advanced Techniques and Troubleshooting.
