Gloria Carter is a dedicated volunteer and research assistant with extensive experience in medical and educational settings. Currently serving as a volunteer at the Salt Wagon Clinic and as a research assistant in the Heerman Lab at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Gloria contributes to patient care and collects valuable data on bilingual literacy and anthropometry. Previous roles include teaching science lessons to children at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital and assisting in thyroid-related research in Dr. Nancy Carrasco's lab. Gloria also has experience working as a front desk attendee at Belle Meade Country Club and as a volunteer staff member at GraceWorks Ministries. Currently pursuing a degree in Medicine, Health, and Society, along with communication studies at Vanderbilt University, Gloria has also participated in the SHPEP program at the University of Florida. Education includes a high school diploma from Father Ryan High School.
