Courtney Hughes

Courtney Hughes has been working in the professional world since 2020. Courtney began their career as a Lead Team Project Manager, Political Science Research Assistant, and Berry College Volunteer Services at Berry College. In 2022, they joined BellXcel as an Impact Research Specialist and Government Relations Intern. Additionally, they were a Youth Advocacy Internship Team Leader at Interfaith Children's Movement, where they taught high-school interns how to mobilize their community for positive change and advocate for important issues facing Georgia's youth. Courtney hosted discussions and planned lessons on effective advocacy, civic engagement, strategic planning and so on. Courtney also held weekly meetings discussing topics such as poverty, education, juvenile justice, immigration, and healthcare.

Courtney Hughes attended Berry College from 2020 to 2023, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with a focus in Pre-Law Studies.
