Vijay V. Devarakonda

Dr. Devarakonda obtained a Bachelors’ degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai in 1993 and a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 1998, both in chemical engineering. His areas of expertise include; fine particle sizing, optical diagnostics, aerosol filtration, water distribution system safety, munition safety, battery safety & thermal management, chemical & biological agent safety, and fire suppression. He has developed niche instrumentation as well as numerous hardware and software solutions in related areas. He has authored more than 80 journal publications, government reports, and conference papers.
