Juan Marcos Picard Smith

Juan Marcos Picard Smith began their career in 1999 at Cybermedios as a Junior Developer, where they were responsible for designing and developing websites using ASP and HTML. In 2000, they moved to Vanguardia Educativa as a Technician of Computer Repair. In 2001, they joined Administradora Sanatorial Metropolitana S.A. as a Senior FullStack Developer, where they were responsible for migrating a system created in Clipper to a web system developed in PHP, JavaScript, Prototype, jQuery, Smarty, and MySQL, as well as developing and implementing software in Python for laboratory equipment communication. In 2021, they moved to Invertir en Bolsa S.A. as a Senior FullStack Developer. Currently, they are a Senior Backend Developer at Belo.

Juan Marcos Picard Smith is currently studying for a Diplomatura in Programación informática at Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Previously, they obtained a Licenciatura in Ciencia Política from University of Buenos Aires between 2011 and 2016. Juan Marcos also completed an Ingeniería in Ingeniería informática from University of Buenos Aires in 1999. Before that, they obtained a Tecnicatura in Informática from Educación Secundaria Técnica N° 7 "Jose Hernandez" between 1993 and 1998. In addition, they have obtained two certifications: a Curso Ecosistema Crypto from Defy Education in May 2022 and a GitHub para programadores from LinkedIn in December 2020.
