Nicole Ford, M.S., currently serves as the Associate Director of Participatory Action Research at Beloved Community since December 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Louisville from August 2019 to November 2022, where contributions spanned leadership in community-engaged research, grant writing, and teaching public health courses. Ford has collaborated on various research projects focusing on health equity, youth engagement, and social justice, including significant roles in the Parent Power Project and the CDC’s National Centers for Excellence in Youth Violence Prevention. Education includes a PhD in Public Health from the University of Louisville and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Health Education from Texas A&M University.
