Kalpana Sankar

Kalpana Sankar currently serves as an Academic Council member at Mother Teresa Women's University College in Kodaikanal. She is the Chairperson at Hand in Hand Consulting Services Private Limited, where she has provided strategic support for international expansion. Additionally, as the Managing Director at Belstar Microfinance Limited, she ensures the sustainability of Hand in Hand India's activities. Dr. Sankar is also the Co-Founder of Hand in Hand India and previously served as a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for the Tamil Nadu Women's Development Corporation. She holds a PhD in Gender and Women Studies from Mother Theresa Womens University Kodaikanal and a PhD in Nuclear Physics from University of Madras.
