Philippe Coene

Philippe Coene is an experienced professional in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, currently serving as General Manager of the Belgian Medicines Verification Organisation (BeMVO) since January 2023, where responsibilities include implementing and managing the Medicines Verification System in Belgium. Prior to BeMVO, Philippe held positions as Commercial Manager at W-pharma from May 2019 to December 2022, and as Account Executive Benelux at TraceLink from August 2017 to April 2019, focusing on supply chain solutions and regulatory compliance. Philippe’s extensive background also includes serving as General Manager at Aegate, where innovative verification systems were developed, and as a consultant at Mercuri International, enhancing sales efficiency for various companies. Earlier roles encompassed medical and sales management at Actelion and Schering-Plough, highlighting a strong foundation in product management and strategic leadership. Philippe holds a Master’s degree from Ghent University and a Latin-Greek degree from Sint Lodewijkscollege Lokeren.
