James Pycock

James Pycock has over 20 years of experience in product management and leadership roles in the technology industry. James is currently the Head of Core Applications, Product Management at Benchling, a biotechnology software company. Before joining Benchling in 2022, James served as the Senior Director of Product at Procore Technologies from 2020 to 2022. James also worked as the Director of Product Management at Autodesk from 2016 to 2020, where they led product strategy and growth for a B2B enterprise SaaS platform for the media industry. Prior to Autodesk, James held various product management positions at Microsoft, Ordnance Survey, Evi (now Amazon Alexa), Mobispine, ISL, and Xerox Research, contributing to the development and success of innovative products such as Skype and Alexa. James brings a wealth of experience in shaping product vision, strategy, and achieving growth targets.

James Pycock holds a PhD in Designing Social Computing Systems from The University of Manchester. Additionally, they have obtained an MSc in Cognitive Science from Alliance Manchester Business School.
