Sam Boyarsky

Sam Boyarsky is a skilled software engineer currently employed at Benchling since July 2022. Previously, Sam has held various instructional roles, including serving as an instructor of computer science at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in 2024, where curriculum development focused on web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Sam's experience in the tech industry includes working as a site reliability engineer at Google from 2018 to 2022 and as a senior software developer at Global Knowledge for a year. Additional teaching experience spans multiple roles at Duke TIP and The Iron Yard, where curriculum design and student instruction were key responsibilities. Sam holds a master's degree in bioinformatics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a bachelor's degree in biology and computer science from Duke University.
