Sriram Krishnan

Sriram Krishnan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sriram is currently the Head of Engineering, Platform at Benchling, where they are responsible for building a Cloud Platform for Life Sciences R&D. Prior to that, they were the VP of Engineering, Einstein Platform at Salesforce, overseeing the Machine Learning Platform for Salesforce Einstein. Sriram also worked at Twitter, where they managed the Data Platform team and was responsible for building analytics tools and applications. Sriram has experience in Big Data platforms, having served as a Software Architect for the Big Data Platform at Netflix. In addition, Sriram has held leadership positions at the San Diego Supercomputer Center and Indiana University, where they led teams in advanced cyberinfrastructure development and conducted research in data-intensive computing. Sriram also gained research and internship experience at IBM T.J. Watson Research Lab and Argonne National Laboratory, working on projects related to grid computing and middleware technologies.

Sriram Krishnan received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington between 1999 and 2004. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies in Computer Engineering at the University of Mumbai from 1995 to 1999, earning a B.E. degree.
