David Cavanaugh

David Cavanaugh is currently the Director of Component Engineering at Benchmark Electronics. With a background in quality engineering, process engineering, test engineering, and supply chain engineering, David also has experience in analytical chemistry and software development from their previous role at Parke-Davis division Warner-Lambert. David holds a Ph.D. in Biotechnology Science and Engineering from The University of Alabama in Huntsville and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from Oakland University. David's expertise includes component engineering, failure analysis, reliability engineering, RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, alternate parts, cost savings, statistics, material science, and electrical engineering skills with a focus on signal integrity.
