Ian Harris

Ian Harris is an accomplished mining executive with extensive experience in mineral exploration and development. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Libero Copper & Gold since January 2021, Harris oversees a portfolio of porphyry copper deposits across the Americas. In addition, Ian holds the position of Vice President - Engineering at Benchmark Metals Inc. and has played a pivotal role in various mining companies, including commitments as an Independent Director at StrikePoint Gold Inc. and a former President of Para Resources Inc. Harris's expertise spans strategic management and project development, showcased through leadership roles at companies such as AMAK Mining Company and Corriente Resources. Ian Harris earned a B.Sc. in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech.
