Jorge Uzcategui

Jorge Uzcategui is currently a Senior Analyst specializing in cobalt and nickel at Benchmark Mineral Intelligence, responsible for forecasting products related to these essential battery materials. Previously, at CRU, Jorge held various analyst roles focusing on gold and copper costs, leading the gold cost service and creating cost models for over 300 global gold assets. Prior experience includes a Graduate Geologist position at OreWin Pty Ltd, where consultative work on multiple mining projects and due diligence reviews were performed, as well as a Laboratory Technician role at Bureau Veritas, overseeing sample preparation processes. Jorge holds a Bachelor's degree, with honors in Petroleum Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Geology/Geophysics from the University of Adelaide, supplemented by a study abroad program at Texas A&M University.
