Sharon Walsh

Sharon Walsh has extensive experience in volunteer services, currently serving as the Director of Volunteer Services at Bendigo Health since October 2009. Responsibilities include strategic direction, recruitment, orientation, training, and support for volunteers, as well as managing budgets and educating staff about volunteering. Sharon is the founder and Chair of the Leaders of Health Volunteer Engagement (LOHVE) Network, which connects over 120 leaders in volunteer management across Australia and New Zealand. Prior roles include Manager of Volunteer Services at Cabrini Health and a manager in the Cabrini Palliative Care Unit, with a foundational role as Office Manager/Ward Clerk. Sharon holds an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from Swinburne University of Technology.
