Paul Matthews

Paul Matthews is currently a Data Engineer at Bending Spoons. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Simulation Engineer and Mathematical Modeller at Ferrari from September 2014 to March 2019. There, they were responsible for the implementation and maintenance of new and existing full vehicle simulations, as well as the development of the wind tunnel data processing software. From September 2013 to December 2013, Paul worked as a Research Intern at CIC nanoGUNE, where they studied the phase diagram of confined water using Ab Initio Random Structure Searching (AIRSS) under Dr E. Artacho.

Paul Matthews has a Master's Degree in Physics from the University of Cambridge.

They work with Daniel Wilson - Data Scientist, Mattia Gentil - Data Science & Analytics, and Saverio Pertosa - Data Analyst. Paul Matthews reports to Federico Perazzi, Head of AI.
