John Milligan

John Milligan, MSA, LSSBB, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. John is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Benefit Architects since 2020. Prior to that, they were the Independent Business Owner at J.A. Milligan & Associates, a management consulting firm they founded in 2016.

John also has significant experience in the telecommunications industry. John worked at Verizon Wireless from 2009 to 2016, where they held the positions of Director - Business Transformation and Director - HQ Customer Service Ops. At Alltel Wireless, they held the roles of VP - Customer Service Support and Vice President - Enterprise Program Management, overseeing various operations and leading initiatives that resulted in significant cost savings.

Earlier in their career, John worked at Alltel Information Services, where they served as the Director of Operations/VP Telecom Sales and Telecom Consultant - Business Process Engineering. John successfully managed outsourcing contracts and built strong relationships with clients.

John Milligan, MSA, LSSBB, obtained their BBA in Business Management from Parker College of Business-Georgia Southern University in the years 1981-1985. John then pursued their Master of Science Administration degree in Business at Georgia Southwestern State University from 1990-1991. In addition to their formal education, they have also obtained several certifications including Black Belt - Lean Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma Work-Out Facilitator, and Design for Lean Six Sigma (DFLSS) including Innovation Bootcamp in the years 2014-2015.
