Krista Eger

Krista Eger has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Krista currently serves as the Director of Product at Benekiva, where they are responsible for creating the vision and release roadmap, owning and creating the portfolio backlog, and prioritizing development based on business values. Prior to this, Krista worked at Guardian Life as a Safe Agile Product Owner II, improving application functionality and reliability and defining the product backlog. Krista also worked at Protective Life as an Enterprise Data Services Product Owner II, a Business Transformation Product Manager, a Sr. Team Support Business Analyst, and a Life Claims Examiner. At Liberty Mutual Insurance, Krista held roles as a Life Claims Examiner and a Customer Service Representative, handling policy inquiries, providing mentorship, and delivering excellent customer service. Krista also worked as a Restaurant Manager at The Oaks Golf and Dining and as a Customer Service Representative at Federal Long Term Care Partners. Krista has demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, the ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders, and a track record of achieving desired results.

Krista Eger has a background in nursing education with coursework completed at Golden West College from 2004 to 2005, and general studies pursued at El Camino College from 2001 to 2003. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in December 2022 and the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance in January 2022. Additionally, they have received several industry-specific certifications from LOMA, including the Associate, Customer Service (ACS) and Associate, Life Management Institute (ALMI) certifications in 2018, and the Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) certification in 2013. Krista also completed a course on Advanced Product Strategy provided by Braintrust in 2021, and an Annuities: Overview of Taxation course through LOMA in 2016.
