Derry MacDermott

Derry MacDermott has extensive experience in education and theatre, currently serving as an Assistant Teacher at Bennett Day School since June 2016 and as a Theater Director at Emerald City Theatre since June 2018. Derry previously worked as a Production Stage Manager at the Columbia Center for Theatrical Arts from June 2010 to August 2017, overseeing over 15 productions for children aged 4-16. Additionally, Derry was a Student Teacher at Mary D Lang Kindergarten Center from January to June 2016 and held the position of Resident Assistant/Desk Assistant at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from August 2013 to December 2015. Derry earned a Bachelor of Education degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2016.
