Zeke Bernstein

Zeke Bernstein is an experienced academic leader currently serving as the Dean of Research, Planning, and Assessment and previously as the Director of Academic Planning at Bennington College since August 2012. At Bennington, Zeke oversees the systems that support the college's individualized education approach, including curriculum, registration, and academic spaces. Prior to this, Zeke worked at Harvard Medical School as a Research Navigator for the Harvard Catalyst, facilitating partnerships for clinical research from July 2008 to June 2012. Zeke began the academic career as a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Colorado at Boulder and Harvard Medical School, focusing on psychological stress and infectious disease models. Zeke earned a PhD in Genetics from Harvard Medical School and a BA in Biology and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University.
