Maru Almazán-Palmersheim

Maru Almazán-Palmersheim is an experienced Publication Production and Advertising Specialist currently working at Bennion Deville Homes since August 2018. Additionally, Maru has been a Freelance Graphic Designer since April 2018. Previously, Maru served as Creative Services Manager at The Desert Sun Media Group from February 2012 to April 2018, where responsibilities included designing B2B and B2C advertising campaigns across print and digital media, managing projects, and collaborating closely with the advertising department. Maru also held the position of Senior Art Director at Palm Springs Life from September 2000 to July 2012, overseeing layout and production for various publications and maintaining strong relationships with ad sales teams. Beginning a career at Starcrest Products of California as Art Department Supervisor from 1998 to 2000, Maru supervised a team and streamlined the production process for multiple catalogs. Education culminated in a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Intercontinental, earned between 1992 and 1996.
