Michael Porsgaard

Michael Porsgaard has extensive experience in emergency management, currently serving as Chief of Staff at Beredskabsstyrelsen / DEMA since May 2013. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Deputy Head in the International Division of the Danish Emergency Management Agency for a brief period in late 2012. Michael's career at Beredskabsstyrelsen began in 2002, during which time responsibilities included roles as Head of Administration and Personnel and Head of Education and Training, both at the rank of Major in Civil Protection. Michael earned a Master's degree in Public Management from the University of Southern Denmark between 2000 and 2002.
