Michelle Proffit

Michelle Proffit has over 20 years of experience in accounting and controls. Michelle is currently the VP of Accounting and Controls at Berg Hospitality Group, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Controller at Genuent is becoming INSPYR Solutions from December 2018 to March 2023 and from December 2018 to August 2022. Michelle also served as a Controller at Champion Energy Services from October 2016 to December 2018. Before that, they worked as an Accounting Manager at Calpine from March 2005 to December 2018. Michelle began their career as a Senior Accountant at Weatherford in April 2004 and later worked as a Senior Accountant at El Paso Corporation from March 2001 to April 2004.

Michelle Proffit received a Masters degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Diversity and Inclusion Advocate from Genuent in January 2021.
