Valerie is currently the Corporate Director of Training & Development at Berg Hospitality Group. Prior to moving to Houston, she was the Service Director at Aman Hotel New York, where she played a vital role in the opening of the much-anticipated hotel and membership club in 2022. With a rich background in luxury hospitality, Valerie boasts substantial management experience in food and beverage at esteemed Forbes 5-Star and 5-Diamond properties, including Peninsula Hotel New York, Four Seasons New York Downtown (where she was part of the pre-opening team in 2016), The London NYC, and The New York Palace. Her accomplishments include several Manager of the Quarter awards and a nomination for the Big Apple Star Manager under General Manager category, representing Four Seasons New York Downtown. Valerie began her career as a Hotel Operations Intern at Le Meridien Kuala Lumpur in 2010, followed by a Food and Beverage Internship at Hyatt Regency from 2012 to 2013.

She earned a degree in International Hospitality Management, specializing in Hotel Administration, from Enderun Colleges, and has furthered her education in Hospitality Administration/Management at Les Roches. Additionally, Valerie is certified as a Trainer by TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) and holds a ServSafe Food Handler certification.
