Pontus Lindbom

Pontus Lindbom is an accomplished business development and sales professional with extensive experience in the marine propulsion industry. Since July 2020, Pontus has served as Business Development Manager and Account Manager for Europe and South America at Berg Propulsion, focusing on sales, customer accounts, and dealer development. Prior to this role, Pontus worked at Caterpillar Propulsion as a Senior Technical Sales Engineer and Product Specialist from May 2015 to July 2020, where responsibilities included managing customer vessel projects and ensuring technical solutions met client requirements. Pontus also held the position of Sales Project Manager at Humphree AB from January 2011 to April 2015, overseeing sales and technical support in several European countries, and worked as a Sales & Application Engineer at Volvo Penta between August 2006 and December 2010, providing global technical sales support. Pontus began a career in the Swedish Armed Forces as a Combat Boat Instructor from 2000 to 2001. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Naval Architecture from Chalmers University of Technology, completed in 2006.
