Indrajit Amal Majumdar

Indrajit Amal Majumdar is the Senior Vice President, Retail at Berger Paints. Indrajit has over two decades of experience in the paint industry, working in various managerial positions for companies such as Olam International, Coca Cola, ICI India, and Blow Plast Ltd.

Majumdar began their career as a production engineer for Ashok Leyland in 1991. Indrajit left the company in 1993 to become branch head for Blow Plast Ltd. Indrajit then spent two years working as an area sales manager for ICI India before starting their own business in 1999.

In 2001, Majumdar went back to working for a corporation when they became sales manager for Coca Cola. Indrajit worked in this position for three years before being promoted to General Manager and Country Head at Olam International. Indrajit worked in this role for six years, during which time they were responsible for the company's operations in Angola, Brazil, and Madagascar.

In 2011, Majumdar joined Berger Paints as Senior Vice President, Retail. In this role, they are responsible for the company's retail operations in India.

Indrajit Amal Majumdar has a PGDM in Marketing and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Surat. Indrajit also went to St. Xavier's Surat.
