Alyssa Rush

Alyssa Rush currently serves as the Supervisor of Special Education at Berkeley Heights Public Schools since November 2023. Previously, Alyssa held the position of Supervisor of Special Services at Perth Amboy Public Schools from July 2022 to November 2023. Alyssa's experience in the educational field includes serving as an Inclusion Facilitator at the New Jersey Coalition for Inclusive Education from August 2020 to July 2022, and working as an Executive Function Coach at Beyond BookSmart from April 2019 to July 2022. Alyssa began a career in education with the Montclair Board of Education as a Teacher and Head Cheerleading Coach from September 2012 to August 2020. Alyssa earned a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Administration from Kean University between 2017 and 2020.
