Celeste Yen

Celeste Yen currently serves as a Senior Advisor, Vice-President, Awareness Chair, and Outreach Chair for the Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program (KDSAP) at Berkeley, where significant contributions include coordinating volunteer interpreters, implementing community resource systems, and updating educational materials for broader patient access. In addition to the KDSAP roles, Celeste works as a Research Intern at the University of California, San Francisco, focusing on various health-related projects, including curriculum development and laboratory research. Leadership experience also includes positions as Secretary and Program Coordinator for the Molecular & Cell Biology Undergraduate Student Association, where initiatives involved creating student resources and organizing research symposiums. Celeste's volunteer work spans across various health organizations, providing essential services and support to community members and enhancing language accessibility for health materials. Currently pursuing a degree at the University of California, Berkeley, Celeste has a commitment to minimizing health disparities through advocacy and outreach.
